Suzanne Dando made her name through the sport of Gymnastics. She achieved the highest accolade in the sport by representing her country in the World Championships and the Moscow Olympic Games, former Olympic Gymnast and British Champion Suzanne then went on to carve out a successful career in television, theatre and the media over the past 27 years.
She has presented TV programmes across the board from art, animal, health, light entertainment and sports, and her many other involvements include writing a book 'Fun ways to looking good and feeling fit', producing and presenting her own fitness video 'Flexercise', and developing her own range of fitness/sports wear.
Staying fit has allowed her to take on many 'Active' challenges as a presenter such as Bungy jumping, Wingwalking, Parachuting to name but a few, to the more sedate jobs as Presenter of the 'Pet set' a 3 series programme for the BBC on Animal welfare issues to the highly successful series 'Awash with Colour' her own painting series with Artist Dermot Cavanagh also for the BBC.
She currently co-presents the show jumping coverage for Sky Sports, and is in her fifth year working on cricket's one day internationals and the 20/20's for the ECB as pitchside presenter.
She is an active supporter of several charities including the 'Action against Breast Cancer' charity of which she is patron, and 'The Prince's Trust' for whom she is an Ambassador.
